The Appointment is a virtual platform aiming to showcase suppliers, from unique boutique hotels, resorts, villas and destination management companies, and to educate and inspire key travel advisors from global markets including The Americas, Russia, UK, Europe and APAC.
This is a unique opportunity for travel advisors to meet with carefully curated suppliers and discover new experiences and destinations.
The exhibitors will welcome the opportunity to meet with international travel advisors. This platform will introduce travel advisors to less explored regions and ‘off the beaten track’ experiences with a focus on slow travel, local communities and sustainability.
By agreeing to exhibit in The Appointment they have agreed to the following manifesto:
respect the role and function of Travel Advisors
offer “rate parity”
pay commission on a timely basis
reward customers that book with Travel Advisors by offering amenities
Appointment driven trade show with 45 one-on-one appointments with 20 minutes set aside for each appointment.
Travel Advisors will be able to set their own agenda, with a minimum of 20 confirmed appointments, over a 3-day period from Tuesday, December 20, 2022 to Friday, January 2, 2023.
In addition, there will be a food & wine experiences that will include cooking demonstrations with Michelin Starred Chefs, wine tasting with local winemakers, interviews and panel discussions with hospitality industry experts and trailblazers.
All programming will be interactive and motivational.
Travel Advisors will have the opportunity to connect with suppliers that are not normally on their radar including unique accommodations, wine tasting at local wineries and gastronomic experiences from local chefs.
The participation is complimentary for Travel Advisors.
